International Inspection, Inc. has highly experienced technicians most with over 10 years of experience in testing of groove welds per the American Welding Society (AWS) Code using Visual, Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant methods. Our technicians have developed such a reputation in the industry that they are requested by City and County Inspectors for work within their territories.
International Inspection, Inc. has been involved in high profile projects such as the Disney California Adventure Theme Park’s four year new construction project where we had 8-10 technicians performing continuous Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle and Radiographic Inspection.
One large area that International Inspection, Inc. excels in is the Radiographic inspection of bridge components up to 3.5” in thickness for a number of Fabrication shops in the Pacific Northwest. Our Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington facilities being capable of operating up to 10 Mobile Radiographic Darkrooms assure our clients quick 24 hour response.
International Inspection, Inc. has developed a specialized T-, Y-, and K- procedure for Ultrasonic testing of these connections. Only trained technicians who have been previously qualified by our ASNT Level III may perform such inspections as well as be qualified in the field on mock-up welds prior to inspection on production welds.
